The defender alarm system just protects the back of the van and alerts you by phone call if the alarm is activated. This is not an insurance approved tracking system but a lower priced system to protect your van and alert you if the van is broken into.

A Thatcham approved S5 tracker is the highest level of insurance approved tracker on the market, it comes with 2 x DRST Driver tags and you can also use your phone as a tag. It it sold @ £449 & £100 for the immobilisation added.

Manufacturers’ security can be easily overcome, and most vans have very little in the way of alarm system, our aftermarket systems are designed to protect your vehicle and tools and alert you when the alarm is activated.
